50 girls in school

We have managed to keep 50 girls in school with regular attendance even when Schools were closed due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

6 radios provided

6 Radios were provided to girls to help them keep learning at home when Schools were closed due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

35 girls to participate in life skills

We have helped 35 adolescent girls to attend/participate in life-skills activities including group saving through our mentors weekly meet program at community level.

70 mothers in income generating activities

We have helped over 70 Mothers to engaged in Income generating activities such as Goat, Chicken rearing and agricultural activities in order to support their children/families

100 families supported during lock down

We have supported 100 poor families by Food Relief during the COVID-19 lockdown.

Health insurance for 699 families

We have supported 699 poorest families(especially female headed households) with access to community health insurance (2020/2021 Mutuelle des Sante)

Raised Covid-19 awareness

We have raised awareness on the challenges/effects of C-19 School closure to girls’ education including teenage pregnancy, domestic violence and family conflicts, by conducting 5 community targeting girls, parents & community leaders.

Started a tailoring centre

In September 2020, we launched a tailoring and sewing center aimed at equipping school dropout adolescent girls and teen mothers with valuable skills. Our goal is to financially empower them, enabling them to support their families and children, fostering independence and economic stability.
